This is a small gallery of my favorite fractals. Fractal art uses mathematics to create a very precise and often very complex form of abstract beauty. A quick look around found me this interesting definition of what "fractals" are.
Here you will find a few pages of "thumbnailed" pictures, with each little picture linking to a full-sized version of the picture. Because of the complexity of the fractal picture, too much data compression can cause little details to be lost, so some of the full-sized pictures are rather large files, average size 300KB. That means they can take a while to appear on your screen, especially if you do not have a broadband or DSL internet connection.
