Most of the pages are back up - some are being reconstrcucted at this very moment!
Current writing projects - trying to finish "Becoming Christine", and working on getting the "Good Neighbors" series started, and hopefully working more on "Commonplaces". Click here for story excerpts and for more detailed information about upcoming projects.

We all have personal lives - I'll
share a little of mine.
Since I am not yet published - let alone making those royalties - I must have
a day job.
Until August of 1999 I was very happily married. Here is a memorial
I made for my late
wife.
I enjoy gardening, and am slowly creating a pleasant
little "forest" around my bungalow
in
the middle of Peoria, Illinois.
I reside with three
cats, and have included some pictures of
them as well as one picture of me, on the same page.

I am a very active person with
a wide variety of interests. I am an oil painter - in the future I
may include something about that. I also dabble in fractal art, and here is
my new gallery of
fractals. I have other artistic interests as well - for example, I have
several
pictures posted.
I also write poetry.
Another ongoing project is my cars.
I have a love for good machinery,
and have owned a few automobiles.
They were all cheap, run-down junks when I bought
them, and so far I have run them completely into the ground and replaced them
with more of
the same. At the moment, though, I am hoping to do some serious work on my
current two -
a '79 Lincoln Continental and a '69
Chevy G-10 van. The van is currently hiding in the
garage, in a condition politely described as non-functional. The Lincoln is
my everyday
transportation.

An excellent site in which to spend some time soaking is Sanctuary, the poetry site of Residentpoet, a Yahoo denizen and a favorite person of mine. :) The backgrounds she uses for her poetry are fractal pieces done by numerous artists, used (mostly) with their permission.
I am a big fan of the band Jethro
Tull. In fact, much of my writing is done with them as
background music. I have also had some interesting discussions with someone
who has
developed a very thourough and scholarly
site discussing the music of Tull. Another fun place
is the Tullring. I also
have my own little fan website.
I also love cartoons. When the
CartoonNetwork became
available locally, I may have been
among the first to order it.
I suppose this next should be in
"Other Projects", but I get a kick out of treating it as a seperate
site. Here is the home page of one little Ty
Beanie dragon, named Leif Krispin (he once
referred to his Ty name "Scorch" as his "slave name").
Have some fun with it!
